Millers Point was once a criminal breeding ground – a haunt for ne’erdo- wells with filthy breeches, filthier mouths and even filthier blades sharp enough to cut a man from gullet to gusset. Today, you’ll find sweet cottages, knick-knack shops and boutique hotels like the Observatory. As hotel bars go, Globe is a find: all plush interiors,...   read review

"My daughters and I loved it, loved it. We read up about high tea etiquette first, which was fun. The only thing that could have been improved on (and I am being very picky!) would be the offer of another pot of tea each...? And possibly somewhere to hang our coats very easily...? Beautiful experience, beautiful service and beautiful food and drink all presented beautifully. An absolute treat."

"Good service with tasty sandwiches and scones at high tea. Unfortunately, we were all a bit disappointed with some of the sweeter high tea options. Gorgeous location and setting!"

"The F&B staff and Porters at The Langham Hotel are fantastic they were always smiling, happy and friendly. I would recommend this Hotel for High Tea to anyone, next time we plan on staying at the Hotel."

"Great ambience with comfortable seating, space between tables and pianist for background music. The bar menu, though short, was good and the service was truly excellent."

"We took our friend to High Tea for her 50th Birthday - I wasn't very impressed with the selection - the sandwiches were boring - flat, not much filling and some of the crusts were still on - didn't look appealing at all. The Macaroons were heavy and chewy - the scones were too crumbly. The waiter forgot to give us a jug of milk and we had to ask for it. I was under the impression that this was THE place to go for High Tea in Sydney. I wasn't impressed at all and it was about $10-$15 dollars more than other places we looked at but thought this would be the best. It was also really cold in the dining room."

"Service was a bit sporadic, but feedback today from all my friends was great. We all enjoyed the luxurious atmosphere, food and courtesey we all received by staff. Do it again in a flash. Just waiting for some special occasion."
